It seems that you can only set a door to be closed by default and not locked. Because of this, you can never have a monitored door show as a forced open. If anyone knows a way to make doors with just door contacts show up as forced open, that would be incredible! We have some doors that are to be locked with a key, but to not be opened except in emergencies. All alarms coming in would technically be a forced open door, not just a plain held open, please advise.

Even if you don't use it, drop a lock device into the logical door.
If there is no lock defined, how could the door be locked ?

Because you can have a locked door that doesnt connect to a power supply or relay. Just a turn key lock, mechanical, nothing automatic. They want to monitor these doors, but we can't seem to do that. Simply saying "HELD OPEN" its alerting enough for what we are looking for.

Use an alarm input and label it as "Door X forced open alarm".
