Graphics Requirements - Viewing Station

Hey Everyone,

Anyone had a need to only view one camera live? Perhaps from a fixed location as above an entry etc.

Ever found a lightweight PC with graphics capabilities to pull it off. The specs for a viewing station are significant compared that most business grade workstations etc are Intel HD Graphics.

We note though that the Intel HD 620 Graphics benchmarks somewhere between the nVidia GT430 and GTX460 (As on the spec sheet from Cisco), that being the case we wonder if one would work suitably enough.

Any success with a scenario like this or other types of graphics cards?

A quick update for those interested - we're having pretty good success with the Intel UHD Integrated models, we note though that it's only working at a reasonable speed for 4 or less cameras at a time or on a wall.

You can maybe look at this product to do what you want. I used them back on VSM6.3. I would call them to make sure it works with your version of VSM

It is a HD Decoder for a VSM camera stream.

Love the concept, very cool, especially the older style Linksys housing.

However, that price is for us not worth it, we get an IoT Micro PC with Intel UHD for the same price.

Keep in mind that's converting to $AU
