IP Camera 5011 white screen

Hi ,

We've IP Camera 5011 installed out-door ,

sometimes the video turns white and we must reboot the camera to return back to its normal view .

Any suggestion ?

Well, my guess is that it's something related to the environmental conditions as the 5000 series is not an outdoor capable camera.

What are the conditions like?  If I had to guess... I'd say it's an over-temperature condition.

It is installed inside a housing ( IP66 certified )

Is this camera used in conjunction with VSM at all? If so, have you deleted, then re-added the camera yet in VSOM?

I see this issue on CIVS-IPC-6030 cameras mounted outside. Randomly end up with white screen, rebooting resolves it. I think it is related to the day/night filter. Seen it on different firmwares up to 2.8.0. Trying a few cameras on new firmware 2.9.3-3 to see if it resolves it.
