Location of the NVRAM / Flash module for removal and destruction

Can anyone help me locate the NVRAM/ Flash module on the motherboard? I need to remove and destroy it.

The model is a Catalyst WS-C3650-48TS.

The flash and NVRAM are soldered into the motherboard.
If you want to destroy them you'll need to get a hammer and "go to town".
Alternative is to chuck everything into a vat of acid.

Is there a battery backup for the NVRAM / Flash , specific to the Catalyst 3650 switch, that can be removed to clear it out completely?

I don't recall seeing a battery on any motherboards of Cisco switches; mostly I have used 3750 models, swapped power supplies which meant opening case.  I had 3650 switch but not sure If I had broken one that would require opening.

which brings another topic: how switch stores info in those chips when not connecting to power.

if you can access switch now, you can delete all files and even format flash. that will erase all files beyond recovery.  Besides, remove flash from switch is not easy;  and why do you need to destroy it?

It's a Government security requirement to all non-volatile memory. What specific data can be found or is stored on the NVRAM?

running conifgs, vlans, ip addresses, etc., some passwords, probably security keys like pki, rsa, etc.

I am not sure if I recalled seeing a battery.
What happens if you pop the lid open?

Alternatively, look for an industrial equipment shredder.
