NTP on server and cameras are not the same - different time zone settings

Im working on some motion detection and day/night scheduling and realize the time on the majority of my cameras is incorrect. All cameras have the setting in vsom 7.6 under the general tab "use media server as NTP" box checked, so it should get it time from the media server. I verified all 3 media servers are set to PST time, and have the same time as vsom server. Based on this, time should be accurate  throughout the system.

I randomly checked various model cameras across three different servers. For each camera that has the incorrect time, its always the because the time zone is set to the default (GMT - 12:00 International Date Line West), however the correct time zone is PST. The camera NTP server settings on the same page are always correct though and point to the media server address that it records to. Based on this, the time should be accurate on the camera, correct? I have this issue with all models in my system (3530, 6020, 6030, 7530).

Also, I tried to change the ntp server for the camera in vsom from the media server to the vsom server. After I make the change, I see the camera ntp settings are updated to that of the vsom server, but the time is still wrong because the time zone is wrong. I set it back to the media server, and get the same issue.

How is it possible to change all cameras to the correct time, including the time zone without logging in to each camera manually?

Unfortunately, no.  We've always had a configuration check list to include manually setting the IP Camera endpoint to the proper timezone manually :-S
