recovery/restore dvd downloads?

Hi Jeremy,

The Cisco Emerging Technology Partner Resource Center is an available resource for Cisco partners (mainly I believe for Advanced Technology Partners in a particular Cisco technology.)

If you need the VSM 6.3.1 Recovery DVD, I will post it for you in a way which does not require you to have an account on the CiscoET site.

I also need this 6.3.1 recovery disk and have no idea how I can get it.

On cisco download site I don't have the necassary rights to download it and on this link above it asks for a sponsor?

Hi Hermanus,

Cisco has made the VSM 6.3.1 Recovery DVD ISO more accessible since this thread was started.  You can now download this ISO directly from cisco.com.

Navigate to the download section

The ISO will be under the 6.3.1 software.  This is the latest ISO version for burning to DVD.  Later ISO images are for USB thumb drive only.  You can always use the DVD version and then upgrade using the rpms for a later (or earlier version if applicable.)

Cannot locate recovery ISOs on Cisco ET, is this intentional?  I do see v6.3.1 on Cisco Downloads, is this the latest v6 recovery, is there a USB version? Can someone please have Jason Lee add files to Cisco ET... tia!
