Unable to upgrade VSOM 7.6 to 7.8

Hi Guys,

I have 2 VSOM servers which I am trying to upgrade from version 7.6 to version 7.8.

Under Video Surveillance Management Console, Server Upgrade I have click Add Software Pack and selected Cisco_VSM-7.8.0-13i-rhel6.zip.

The file appears to upload but then nothing happens - it just goes back to the Add Software pack dialogue box.

The server is  CPS-UCS-1RU-K9, Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server release 6.4 (Santiago).

I have tried using IE and Chrome - same result

I have tried to upload the Cisco_VSM-7.7.1-19i-rhel6 - same result.

I have also verified the checksum of the file.

Am I doing something wrong somewhere?

Ok I found that it must have been because the VSOM server was over a slow link.

I copied to a local machine at the remote site then it uploaded OK via the From PC option.

I then tried to upload via FTP over the slow link  - this worked Ok as well

Glad to hear you got through it.  I second the FTP option as well.  I personally don't trust most browser based upload mechanisms.
