Hello,

I have a problem with the Cisco VSOM (Version 6.3.2).

The Server Status is false.

The display of the HDD capacity is not available.

See the picture.

What should I do to ensure that the status is displayed correctly.

Kind regards

The mrtg service is not started.

I can't start the service.

This sounds like an SNMP service / host name resolution problem.

Ensure you can resolve and ping from VSOM to VSMS, and vice versa.

Hope it helps,

It means that VSOM is having trouble talking to the Media Server.

Check for connetivity issues.

Are the services running on the Media Server.

Try restarting the MS.

Also before that, look into what Scott said, in the /etc/hosts file and make sure that the MS is entered there

Hello,

i have the solution.

The Problem was a configured port channel on SUSE10.

After disables the port channel on linux and rebooted the services, everthing runs without problems.

Kind Regards

Mats Hüll

Hi Mats,

Maybe this is just my own lack of knowledge here, but what do you mean by "configured port channel on SUSE10"?

Anyone else know whats implied here?

Thanks!

A Port Channel is when one uses both the ETH ports bound together as one Channel.

This is not supported in VSM.

Great job in getting this fixed and thanks for posting your solution!
