VSOM 7.6 usr/BWhttpd/ is miss some contain

Hi 

i have VSOM 7.6 has issue with data base , so i an try to restart db but no resolve so i am  recreate the database , then after my server is crushed , 

/usr/BWhttpd/bin/init_vsom_mysql restart

/usr/BWhttpd/vsom_be/db/database_create.sh 

i am loss the bin directory , now my server down , 

this  

[root@vsom1 BWhttpd]# ls
systemstoragestatus tomcat vsf_be vsmc vsom_be    // no bin , cores here

so , any help

Hello,

Looks like your DB crashed and we need to rebuild again and restore the config with the existing backup on server (if any).

Let me know if you can open a TAC SR, I can help you and take over SR to get the server restored again soon.

In meantime, please check and share the output of below commands:

1) #cd /var/serviceBackups/scheduled/daily

   # ls -alh

   # /var/serviceBackups/manual/

  # ls -alh

2) df -h

3) service cisco status

4) vscheck

That's great way to learn the things! I appreciate your efforts and zeal to learn this issues and troubleshoot by your own. The current situations looks the VSOM DB service is not starting and this looks like a bit more complex and we need to see the current situations of VSOM DB and what things affected due to this. It always recommended to work with TAC when you facing such DB corrupted issue, as its cause data loss if not properly.

I can help you and give you brief about the steps what i am doing on WebEx with this. So, from next time onwards you can try by your keeping some precautions in mind. :)

As I am off-shift today, so tomorrow if you can come little early and open the TAC SR between 5:30am to 11:30 am IST time(GMT+5:30), i will pick this and help you from there.
