VSOM server || reachability issue

Deas,

Kindly i need to know ,what will be happen if VSOM server goes down/ or loss reachability ?

 i have 5 Remote sites managed by VSOM , each site has it's own VSM server (Media Server)

so if the one site (Media server)  loss reachability to vsom it will go down (All cameras down) or  ALL Cameras will working well but i can't only  manage/view them   ?

VSOM is an operation manager, it manages templates, locations, LDAP, Authentication and media servers. VSOM (standalone) reachability has no impact to recordings.

Recordings are local to media server, but it's essential, VSOM should be back ONLINE to play the recorded videos. since any thin or thick client are authorised from vsom to play recorded videos.
