ACS 1120 5.1 to 5.5 Upgrade

Hi. We have an ACS 1120 version 5.1 & want to upgrade to 5.5.

From the documents, the following path may be followed:-

1) Check if 5.1 has the latest patch
2) If not, install the latest patch
2) If yes, the following path may be followed for upgrade
    a) Upgrade 5.1 to 5.3
    b) Upgrade 5.3 to 5.5

5.3 has several patches numbered from 1 to 10, do we have to sequentially install them one by one or after application upgrade to 5.3, can i directly install the patch 10. Also any idea as to how long a patch install can take?

ACS patches are cumilative so you can go ahead and install the latest patch without the need to install the previous ones. The patches install pretty quick...I have never timed them but it is not more than 10-15 min per server.
