ACS 4.1 - can I specify which AD domain controller?

Hello,

We're running ACS 4.1 on two appliances that access AD as the external user database.  I've found where to specify the domain to authenticate against; is it possible to specify in ACS which of our 5 DC's to communicate with?  If so, can I specify them all in a prioritized list?

Thanks

BR

Hi,

The domain lookup is going to be done by your remote agent server which uses the Microsoft Domain Controller Locator process here:

http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc978011.aspx

You can prioritize DC's by :

- Placing the remote agent on the preferred domain controller.

- Placing the remote agent in the preferred AD site.

- modifying weight in DNS

Hope that helps.
