Hi
looking for more informations regarding install under EXSI5.
In the section
Configuring the ESX 3.5, 4.0, 4.1, i4.1, or 5.0 Server
of
Installation and Upgrade Guide for the Cisco Secure Access Control System 5.3
section Installing ACS in a VMware Virtual Machine
It is mentionned :
Step 2 From the Storage Type drop-down list, choose Disk/LUN and click Next.
Step 3 Choose 512 GB, 2 MB block size and click Next.
QUESTION 1
BUT ACS 5.3 is there supported if install under NAS (Network File System) Datastores for example across NFS protocol
is it there any restriction with 2MB block size I mean is it require to hane 2MB block size
And If I Chose Disk/LUN what is supported Thin or Thick lasy or eager zeroed ?
QUESTION 2
the guest OS is mentionned as Linux other(32 bit)
But during installation we notice Centos Release via the GPL so under ESX5 we can chose Centos4/5/6(32bit) so is it a better choice for installation and is supported instead Other Linux 2.6(32bit)?
Question 3
As everyone can see on this documentation print screen is done under ESXI 4.1 under ESXI 5 we can choose Virtual Machine Version7 or Virtual Machine Version 8 Which one is Supported (VMFS structure) ?
I think This information should be mentionned somewhere on CCo But I didn't find it.
I notice from now strange stuff in fact at this point (installation) after finalize setup on VM console everything is ok (I've made multiple install test and sometime get this trouble), but when I want to access through https GUI get some message error 404 although process are said to be start (check connectivity and dns resolution of course and my brower too!!!). OUPS!
I don't think I am the first one asking this questions So I hope someone as the wright supported install process for ACS5.3 under ESXI 5.0 and will be very happy to get them...
Many Thanks
CX
