Is it possible for ACS 5.6 to create multiple syslog outputs?
I attempted to set up the following on ACS 5.6 but it would not allow two remote log targets with the same IP address.
System Administration > Configuration > Log Configuration > Remote Log Target
The hopeful end result being that the ACS would send out three 'streams' of logs, for example;
- Remote Log Target 'AAA Audit' = ServerA, Facility Code 'local5'
- Remote Log Target 'AAA Diagnostics' = ServerA, Facility Code 'local6'
- Remote Log Target 'Accounting' = ServerA, Facility Code 'local7'
Each remote log target would then be applied to the associated logging category
System Administration > Configuration > Log Configuration > Logging Categories > Global
The separate syslog server would then be able to filter the incoming logs based on the facility code and pipe to
the correct log file
Could anyone advise if it is possible to achieve the end result on the ACS 5.6 in some way?
