Hi all,

If we need to migrate ACS 4.2 installed on appliance 1113 to ACS 5.3 what all the prerequisites...?

whether any hardware dependencies and the same configurations on 4.2 could be operated on 5.2 even after appliance changes...?

Thanks for your suggestions in advance..

Hello vishweswaran K,

You cannot migrate from 1113 Appliances directly, so you need to back-up the data from the appliance, set up a migration machine (windows server for ACS install), install the a supported migrated version. Restore the data to this windows ACS. Migrate from this box to ACS 5 (VM or Appliance). More info: http://tools.cisco.com/squish/cd545

You can use a single migration machine for migrating to two ACS boxes.
