Cisco ISE NAD DB import Export

Hi All,

Having a strange issue, trying to import network device DB from 2.4 to 2.6 and getting an error.

Header Name: String(32): Required is missing

Tried many things manually create a list , filling information in the template etc but the same error.

Only if I download a template from 2.6 and upload as it is (blank). it says success. 

Even in the same templet if i fill in the required information, it fails.

Am I missing something or hitting a bug.

please help.

It could be some data in your file not clean. Attached is a test file I tried on ISE 2.6 Patch 3 and it working fine.

If you are unable to share you file in the community, please open a TAC case.

Hi ,

Thanks for your response. The file you attached worked for me , however, it does not work if I modify it to comma-separated and save it. Excel pops-up massages "I am saving in csv, and will lose some data.

Any Thougts .

The message from Excel is a warning, but it did add some characters at times. If I were you, I would use another editor to verify the file.
