Its seems everytime i have a windows 10 and windows 7 in my POV setup at the customer, windows computers always default to Computer based Auth, if i force to use username it fails the authentication. The problem is when i run wireshark and i have windows setup to do user auth , computer never sends any responses, and i got no logs on ISE. When i change to computer it works, when i change to computer or user - it uses computer and it passed (computer member of AD group)..
I do not mind computer auth, but once the user log in i want user credentials to be send to ISE.
I applied all the necessary patches for windows, but i do run into these issues.
I did Anyconnect NAM install and this works every time so i know my ISE config works. The customer will not allow to have any other supplicants but native windows one.
ANyone run into similar problems when deploying ISE for wired windows 7/10 environments.
Thankks

Yes. Check the links.
Got the same error. The solution was to install Cisco supplicant AnyConnect NAM.

There is a bug with 802.1x in Windows 10 also.

There is a workaround for Windows 10 changing some registry options.

Have you seen where the machine will authenticate fine, but the user attributes are not being sent?
