Do you have the idle-timer disabled as well?

Thank you for rating helpful posts!

Where I have to look for disabling idle timer, in wireless controller or in ISE ??

thanks

That is in the WLC > Controller > General > User Idle Timeout (seconds)

I believe the default value is 300.

Dears,

yes it is 300 seconds but why it is affecting only iPhones and not Samsung smart phones nor windows machines.

also I have enabled session timeout of 1800 sec on advanced settings of SSID.

thanks

Hi Jack,

Have you considered adding an authorization policy rule to look in guest endpoints (assuming this is the endpoint group your guest are placed in when they authenticate) and if so permit access?

This would need to be above your redirect rule.

Consider when doing this the settings for purging accounts.
