How can I put in an enhancement request for ACS 5.8?

Cisco customer doesn't like the fact that security scanner receives a response from ACS showing the name and version:

443/tcp open     ssl/http syn-ack ttl 60 Cisco ACS httpd 5.8

They believe this is a security issue and are asking to remove this information from http header.

Hi,

ACS product End of Life announcement went out earlier this year.

ACS 5.8 would be End of Maintenance Aug 2018, till then BU will support and maintain the release.

For issues, you can open a TAC case and work with them on opening defect.

Enhancement requests are not supported for ACS release.

However please consider migrating over to Cisco ISE which is the next generation ACS with all the features.

Here is the community site that has information http://cs.co/acstoise

We do support and encourage filing enhancements for Cisco ISE product.

Thanks

Krishnan

Typically, you could open a TAC case and TAC could do it, or go through your account team.

However, given the fact that EOS is already announced for ACS 5.8, I'm not sure how good the odds are of it getting fixed/modified.
