After upgrading to 5.2.0.26 I no longer seem to have a dashoard on the ACS View/Monitoring section.

Has anyone else seen this?

Thanks.

can you check it from comamnd line to see if all processes are running after upgrade?

ACS52-01/admin# show application status acs

ACS role: PRIMARY

Process 'database'                  running
Process 'management'                running
Process 'runtime'                   running
Process 'view-database'             running
Process 'view-jobmanager'           running
Process 'view-alertmanager'         running
Process 'view-collector'            running
Process 'view-logprocessor'         running

Looks like they are all running. Not sure what the issue is. I have also tried a reboot and restart and it does not seem to help. Here is the application status on the Secondary. The Secondary unit runs the view and log fuction in my arrangement.

  1. show application status acs

ACS role: SECONDARY

Process 'database' running

Process 'management' running

Process 'runtime' running

Process 'adclient' running

Process 'view-database' running

Process 'view-jobmanager' running

Process 'view-alertmanager' running

Process 'view-collector' running

Process 'view-logprocessor' running

I have found the following CDETS which appears to be relevant:

CSCtl71157: ACS runtime does not send system status and health
Per the description this is an intermittent issue:
"Runtime does not activate a component responsible for sending system
status and health logs under some circumstances"
There is a fix for this in cummulaive patch: 5.2.0.26.3 that is available for download from CCO
Since issue appears to be intermittent it may be that also stop/start of services will resolve the issue

I am running 5.2.0.26.3 at this point.

Only other things I can suggest is more general troubleshooting information:

- Go to "Monitoring Configuration > System Operations > Data Upgrade Status" to confirm status of view upgrade

-Go to "Monitoring Configuration > System Operations > Log Collection" to confirm whether it is all types of log messages that are not being received or only system health (which is uner System Statistics category)

- Confirm log collector node defintion at 'System Administration > Configuration > Log Configuration > Log Collector". If using default log categories can consider doing a Suspend/Resume to see if this helps
