Hi,

has anybody checked out how to configure the settings under system administration -> operations -> software repositories for the NFS Protocoll ?

I thought the path would be something like C:\users\acs, but the : is not accepted.

How do I configure this correctly ?

thanks for any hints .

Hi,

For NFS, the repository url is of form:

nfs://server:path

for example--

nfs://loc-filer02a:/vol/local1/private1/jdoe

Regards,

Dev

Could you explain how to do this with a Windows file server. The one you reference looks like a linux server.

nfs://server:path

Server is the server name and path refers to /subdir/subsubdir.  Remember that a colon (:) is required after the server like this:

url nfs://x.x.x.x:/backup

NFS—If you choose this protocol, you must provide the server name and path. You can optionally provide the credentials. If you choose this protocol, make sure that ACS has full access to the NFS file system. You must have read-write and allow root access permission on the NFS file system.

Jatin
