Tacacs doesn't work without AS-override

I was configuring a circuit and I could notice that without the command neighbor x.x.x.x as-override tacacs didn't work in my topology, I couldn't understand very well why it happened.

As-override isn't directly related to tacacs but depending of your topology, you weren't receiving tacacs IP.
Maybe tacacs is located on another site and route want learned because of same as. I can't really tell without knowing your topology.

Can you share a sketch of your design including bgp as ?

Yesterday I did some tests and I could see that it was exactly the problem, because my traffic was passing through the same AS in some point. Thank you for your time. Now I have this knowledge fixed.
