UPGRADE ISE NODES FROM 1.1.0.665 to 1.1.4

HI all ,

I wanna Upgrade Mise ISE from 1.1.0.665 to 1.1.4

Firt I wanna know Witch difference bettwen this two version

also here is the step For the Upgrade

STEP 1: Primary ISE Node On-demand backup 

STEP 2 : Inline Posture Node Configuration Record 

STEP 3 : Derigistration of the SecondaryNode (ISE-PNR-01)

STEP4 : Install the latest  Cisco Identity Services Engine Software Patch Version 1.1.0.665-3-60561 to the SecondaryNode (ISE-PNR-01)         

STEP 5: Upgrade the SecondaryNode (ISE-PNR-01) from 1.1.0.6 to version 1.1.1       

STEP 6:  Upgrade the Secondary Node (ISE-PNR-01) from 1.1.1 to version 1.1.4  

STEP 7: Install the latest  Cisco Identity Services Engine Software Patch Version 1.1.4.218-1-75775 to the Secondary Node (ISE-PNR-01)

STEP 8: Deregistration of IPEP Node (ISE-BZV-02)

STEP 9: Upgrade IPEP Node (ISE-BZV-02) from 1.1.0.6 to 1.1.4

STEP 10: Convert the Primary Node (ISE-BZV-01) to standalone

STEP 11: Upgrade Primary Node (ISE-BZV-01) from 1.1.0.6 to 1.1.4

STEP 12: Promote  ISE-BZV-01fromstandalone to Primary

STEP 13: Register  ISE-PNR-01fromstandalone to Secondary

STEP 14: Register  ISE-BZV-02fromstandalone IPEP

The time taken varies massively depending on the performance of the server, how big your config is and how big your log files are.

Generally though;

1. Backup - 10 mins

3. Deregister node - 10 mins

4. Patch - 10 mins

5. 1.1.0 to 1.1.1 - 40 mins

6. 1.1.1 to 1.1.4 - 40 mins

7. Patch - 10 mins

8. & 9. as above

10. 10 minutes

11 1.1.0 to 1.1.4  - 90 mins

12. Promote to Primary - 2 mins

13. Promote to secondary - 15 mins

14. Register iPep - 15 mins
