Does anyone know of a way to change the client identifier that the Anyconnect client passes to a dhcp server? I am trying to use dhcp to reserve addresses for Anyconnect clients and the client identifier I am getting on the server is very long and does not work for reservations. I have tried to use a microsoft 2003 dhcp server and an IOS dhcp server. Here is an example client identifier: 636973636F2D303031662E396562632E623736382D45435055424C49433731302D696E7369646500
I think my problem would be solved if I could change the client identifier to another value like the mac address of one of the interfaces on the computer, or find a way to configure a dhcp server to recognize this identifier.
Any help would be much appreciated.
