I am trying to see if there is some way to calculate the Calls per second using the information in the CDR reports (which I believe have ample information to do so) and wanted to check if anyone has done this before?
I see there is a report in CAR that gives you a Traffic Summary according to extensions/ type of call/ route pattern used and provides the result in Call trends per hour and BHCC calculations.
What I need is something that gives the same traffic summary according to the route pattern used BUT gives the result in number of concurrent calls per second. This will give us the amount of bandwidth we would need to provision on the WAN bandwidth.
Would anyone have done this before or have any idea about it? I know SQL scripts can be written to do this as well...
Any help will be really appreciated.
