We are currently using Local Area Mobility on our 6509's running 12.1(27b)E4 and have heard that this feature is not available anymore on newer IOS's. We are planning on replacing these 6500's with 4900M's and were wondering what the replacement technology is as it looks like Local Area Mobility is not supported on the 4900M's either.
