Dear Sirs,
Please, help me in solving the following problem. I have 7604 router with FWSM module in module 3.
First of all the FWSM CF has been damaged, not physically. I bought the new same compact flash (size, partnumber, etc.). Downloaded the software 3.2 for FWSM, and ASDM from Cisco website. I realized that the procedure of creating new CF for FWSM is quite diffucult: creating 1-5 partitions, where 1 - is MP, and 4th - application partition. According to cisco documentation - the default boot partition is the 4th, so I partitioned from 7604 the CF into 4 partitions (partition disk1: <1-4> maximum) and copied the software and ASDM to the 4th partition (disk1:3:). Removed the CF from the router and put it into the FWSM module.
Then I typed:
7604(config)#boot device module 3 cf:4
7604#hw-module module 3 reset cf:4
In the result the following mistake monitored:
*Sep 8 05:02:22.143: %C7600_PWR-SP-4-DISABLED: power to module in slot 3 set off (Module Failed SCP dnld)
The "show module" monitored:
7604#sh module

Then I typed:
7604(config)#power enable module 3
The result was the same. It power up for a while, then shut down with the same mistake:
*Sep XXXXXXXXX: %C7600_PWR-SP-4-DISABLED: power to module in slot 3 set off (Module Failed SCP dnld)
While looking through forums in searching the solution, I saw that it might cause of high temperature or low power supply, so I typed:

I even tried to connect to FWSM via console cable to PC console port on FWSM board, according to this info: https://supportforums.cisco.com/docs/DOC-11747. But I couldn't see anything because of frequent shutdown.
I'm sure that the FWSM module still alive, cause I can clearly it's description, partnumber, serial number. And I think that all the problems because of not right compact-flash creation for FWSM module.
Please, help me in this case! Maybe you've already faced with such problem? Thank you in advance!
