We have a need to implement private VLAN for our VMWare ESX hosts that connect to Nexus 5K's (access), which then uplink to Nexus 7K's (distro).
It appears the more recent versions of vSphere (v4 & up) support private VLAN's.
Is it correct that I would set up the links between N7K's & N5K's as normal trunk links (not promiscuous trunk or isolated trunk).
And the same w/ the links between the N5K's & the ESX hosts, since they're now PVLAN aware, and the vSwitches will just handle the "translation" between secondary & primary VLAN tag's on itself?
Based on Peter Paluch's post below, that seems to be the case, but I wanted to confirm.
