I've been having this weird problem using anyconnect mobility client on my Linux Parition ( linux mint 14 nadia, 32 bit). I am trying to login to my schools VPN. Everything works fine till I am prompted for my username and password. When I enter the credentials, the connection never gets establised. 'Establishing VPN session ..' remains in window and after a few seconds, an error message pops up saying ' .. not able to establish a connection to the secure gateway. Please try reconnecting again.' I've tried many times but this seems to be the trend.
The tech support at my school saw that the VPN connection is actually being setup properly but is immediately being terminated with a msg 'user requested' . I clearly am not terminating the connection. I've used VPN on linux partitions in the past without any issues but I fail to understand this problem. I am able to properly connect using my windows partition and even my phone but not Linux !
I would love it if someone can help me sort this issue.
