We have a server to server communication using custom UDP ports over a trunk port configured between the server farm switch and the core switch "Nexus 7k"
Ping and TCP traffic is working fine, but the udp traffic is not, if we bypass the core and connect an access port between the server farm ports it works fine
connectivity is as below:
server1--server farm SW1-- core--server farm SW2-- server 2
