One of our customer wants to convert GSR 12000 IOS-XR to IOS due to memory issue. Pls see the below message from our customer
currently we are unable to use our GSR due to the low memory issue and we came to know that replacing with a new memory is not an efficient way to utilize the equipment considering the end of support stage. Now we are planning to change the role of GSR from edge to a point to point core device. For that we thought of downgrading the current IOS-XR to any stable IOS version supported by current GSR h/w. Please discuss with Cisco TAC revert at the earliest.
