I am having issues with many EHWIC-4G-LTE-V cards. The cards are active and working and have been for many months and then with no reason we have been able to determine they lose their IPs which sets off alarms on our end. The power was not cycled, the card was not deactivated, etc.
When we log in and do a 'sh cellular 0/0/0 all' to see what is going on the first thing we find it the Hardware Information section is blank. It is as if the modem is just gone. A show inventory shows the WIC card itself but not the modem itself is now gone. I have had this happen on a dozen or more cards over the last 5 years and have no idea what to do other than toss them out which sort of stinks. I was hoping someone on here has experienced the same issue and knew why and if there was a fix. I have not been able to find anything in the documentation.
