SMB Switch SG220-26 - SNMPv3 User Lost After REBOOT

Hi,

I have SNMPv3 configured on the switch. All is well until the device is rebooted.

The problem is that the SNMPv3 user disappears from the config. (both running and startup) and I have to configure it again everytime the switch needs rebooting.

SNMPv3 config of the switch is:

- Engine ID (default): Local Engine ID -> "Use Default"
- Views (default): "View Name"-> all, "Object ID Subtree" -> .1, "Object ID Subtree View" -> Included
- Groups: single SNMPv3 group with Authentication and Privacy -> "Read" all and "Notify" all enabled
- Users: single user associated with the SNMPv3 group -> "Authentication Method" SHA and "Privacy Method" DES

Tests I have done without sucess:

- configured the user via web GUI, saved changes to startup-config
- configured the user via SSH, saved changes to startup-config

I also confirmed that the user configuration made in running-config got saved in the startup-config, but as soon as the device loads up after rebooting, the configuration is gone from both running and startup configs.

Can anyone please help me? It is very frustrating having to configure the user over and over again.

The switch is running the latest firmware - ver. 1.1.4.1.

Thanks,

danielssferreira
