I have a Cisco phone cp-8861-3pcc with a sometimes working hook switch. The phone is 13 months old so its 1 month out of warranty and both Ring Central and Cisco want nothing to do with helping me with this repair. The phone was used less than 100 times before it started causing me trouble. When you pick up the hand set it sometimes responds with a dial tone and other times acts as if you hadn't picked up the receiver. press the speaker button and the phone works fine. This seems to be a common issue with these phones as I have seen lots of discussion on this topic. I wanted to buy the switch but cant find one. looks like its made by C&K Switch. I only get voicemail when I call them.
