Hello,
I got a new 8 port cat1000 and had no problem turning it on, pressing button for a few seconds to get it in setup mode, and then jump in the web gui at 10.0.0.1. However after I setup with a new vlan1 static IP that i wanted, and completed the setup, i then manually set my nic to the same subnet of that new vlan1 IP, however i can ping it, cant get a web gui to even come up. Ive double checked my nic setup and its good, i connected console cable and see vlan1 is up and its still the correct IP that i made it. Has anyone else had this problem on these 1000 models? I would try to factory reset it and start from scratch again but cant seem to find the instructions on this one to factory reset it. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.
