Hello all
Recently I'm seeing an unusual issue when attempting to run any queries through the Software Suggestion API. My API login is successful, but it seems that any valid PID provided hits an error. The response I get is 500 INTERNAL_SERVER_ERROR - Invalid releases parameter format.
Running either an incorrect or old model against the Software Suggestion API, I get the expected errorDetailsResponse returned, asking for the correct PID (which is to be expected), but everything else returns the Internal Server Error.

If the API is not behaving the way it should, I think the best is to contact support. Reviewing their support document https://developer.cisco.com/docs/support-apis/developer-support/#technical-assistance you could open a TAC case, specially since the API is working correctly on their end.
There also list this community https://community.cisco.com/t5/services-discussions/bd-p/j-disc-dev-services or this mail supportapis-help@cisco.com in case you prefer not to open the case.
There are other channels described on the first link, take a look in case those might work for you.

I raised a TAC case on something separate relating to the Software Suggestion API, but after some checking they advised they couldn't assist with the specific API.
I've already sent an email to the support api email address that you mentioned, though I've not had any response yet.

It's a bit strange a 500 error I think deserve the TAC case given is something wrong on the backend. I would suggest to also post/cross-post your question on the API services community I posted above and if you have a cisco account team, to raise this through them as well, and share your experience with the TAC case.
