Cisco WAP 4410N

I am trying to set this up as a POE for another part of my house. I programmed my switch to give Port 8 48volts and connected the router. The router powers up and seems to be working. But I can not log on to the wifi. So I tried unhooking the poe from the switch and putting it into a non POE port and it logged in and got me right online. Am I missing something?

Hi,

WAP4410N Access Point does come with a Power Adapter in package content. I hope the power adapter was connected once you are moving the device to non PoE port. Please check whether you are able to ping the device once it is connected to the PoE port, if successful then need to verify the wireless settings by logging into the WAP4410N device to get an idea what is causing the issue. Other parameters like switch port configuration, DHCP settings also need to verify.

WAP4410N is End-of-Support product now. You may refer the following links to setup the device…
