File transfer with RV082

I have an ADSL access, a RV082 routeur and a small network of 15 PC.

When I receive big files everything seems OK but at the end sometimes the file contains some errors (rarely for a small file and most of the time for a file of more than 100 Mb.

We use file transfer tools as filezilla but also file transfer with external applications on which we have no control.

If we withdraw the routeur and plug directly a PC on the ADSL modem everything is working well, the problem is only if we go across the RV082 Rooter.

I tried to see which parameter could impact files transfer on the RV082 but found nothing.

Lookng on different forums, I found a solution.

There is a hidden menu which can be accessed via :

Ip_adress/f_general_hidden.htm

in this page it is possible to modify TCP Timeout and UDP Tiemout

I went from 1800 to 3600 for TCP Tiemout an from 30 to 300 for UDP tiemout and it is working fine
