IkeV1 AND IkeV2 tunnel on the same site-2-site connection

I recently converted on of my remote offices from MPLS to VPN Site-2-Site.  This is the third office I have converted.

The tunnel has been working great, and there is no connectivity problem.

I noticed this morning that there are 2 connections on this site. one Ikev1, and another Ikev2.  the tx and rx bytes are increasing on both, so they are both apparently passing traffic. None of my other sites are doing this, they all connect ikev2 and stay that way.

should I care that I have 2 tunnels attached? I've read that Ikev1 is much less secure than ikev2.

I'd prefer to have only one tunnel, but I don't know if I should care.

any thoughts on this are greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Lee

Lee,

Are both tunnels connected to the same location?
