Newbie Question RV042G & RDP

Hello,

I need help opening ports for remote desktop to a server. Does anyone have a help file on this? Do I need to create a firewall rule in access for ports 443 & 3389 as well as create port forwarding for these ports as well? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Hi Andrew, a port forward rule should suffice provided you make the custom service for 3389. No additional port should be needed.

I did this also today and only the forwarding rule is more then enough
