I replaced a RV042 router with a RV345. Since that the Microsoft Dynamics Report Designer has stopped communicating with the SQL 2014 server. The report designer uses TCP port 4712. So I created a service to open up 4712 then added a IPv4 access rule Vlan1 to Vlan1, which I did not have to do on the old RV042.
The Dynamics accounting works fine using TCP port 1713 with out going through the above procedure.
I have checked the firewall on the server and the ports are setup just as they were before the new router.
Any ideas what I am missing?
