RSV4000 V2 Cable Diagnostic
The device' manual does not provide much info on this.
What do the results of this function mean?
Here are some of the results I've seen on various cables of different lengths.
"Connected State" with no cable length indicated (performed on Cat5e cables of 4 to 150' in length)
"impendence state short state" with all sorts of strange cable lengths (performed on the short patch cable that came with the unit, which as I type this is showing the " Connected State" and no cable length)
"Open State" with a cable length (on short cables not connected to any device)
"impendence state open state short state" with odd cable lengths (on a cable I believe is defective)
