I have both WAN1 and WAN2 connected to an ISP but only WAN2 should be used for outgoing mails.

How and where can I specify this in the configuration?

You can configure a protocol binding rule to bind smtp to WAN2 at the System Management>Dual WAN>Edit WAN2 page.

I did that, see below but it still goes to WAN1, 192.168.123.2 is my mailserver but why the destination ip's? if you leave them blank you can't add the service

got it now correct I think, in the destination range I have filled in 0.0.0.0 to 255.255.255.255

And what happens if WAN2 is not active? will it then try WAN1 ?

Can someone reply to this please?
