I am having trouble building an IPSec connection that will work. I have PPTP working fine, but with IPSec I get an error like the one described below, this text taken from
http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=243415
"If your client is behind a firewall, you may receive an error on your RV042 log such as:
cannot respond to IPsec SA request because no connection is known for aaa.aaa.aaa.aaa/24===bbb.bbb.bbb.bbb[email@email.com]...yyy.yyy.yyy.yyy[email@email.com]===xxx.xx.xxx.xxx/32
a=remote network setting on client
b=remote IPSec Device setting on client
y=IP address of the router at your client's location
x=NAT IP address of the cleint.
The problem here is NAT-T, transversal. You must specify real IP address of the clients router in the Local Address setting of the cleint software (IPSecuritas)"
Unfortunately I can not use this solution as the client machine will have a dynamic address in most cases. Can anyone help me with this please?
I can confirm that this issue exists with NAT Traversal turned on or off on both client machine and client router
I'd be grateful for any help with this.
