I am confused about the RV180W startup and mirror configurations. The docs say that the running configuration is copied to the mirror after 24 hours if you forget to save it. Where is the button to save it? Which configuration is used when the device is started? When I compare the two configuration files, I see these differences:
The startup configuration has systemConfig[1]["checksum"]="31e160bf09bf5277d75462b76345d79a"
The mirror configuration has systemConfig[1]["checksum"] = "0"
The startup configuration has a Router section at the bottom with 267 lines.
The mirror configuration has no Router section.
Which configuration should I keep for backup?
Also, is there a SNMP MIB for this device. We use MRTG to make traffic graphs, and documentation for the ports would be helpful.

Hello Marshall,
Thank you for using the Small Business Support Community!
The RV180W looks at the startup configuration file when booting up, since the startup file is where all changes to the router are stored. By using the startup file when turning on, the router is able to preserve settings changes across reboots. Each settings page on the router typically has a Save button at the very bottom; clicking this button after you've configured your settings will write those changes to the startup configuration file.
The mirror configuration file is a copy of the startup configuration file. This occurs automatically if the router has been active for 24 continuous hours, and if no changes to the startup file have been made in that time. The purpose of the mirror file is to backup the startup file in case you want to roll back the router's settings to a previous configuration. Both the mirror and startup files can also be backed up and restored from your PC.
If you have any other questions, feel free to post them here, and I'll do my best to help you!
Best,
Taylor

Thank you Taylor. Your explanation was much clearer than the documentation.
The second question was whether there is a MIB for this device. I don't see one in the CIsco MIB directory.

Hello Marshall,
I apologize for forgetting to address your second question.
I am also unable to locate an MIB for the RV180W. If you want, you can contact Cisco Small Business Technical Support to confirm whether one exists or not. The phone number to call them is 1(866)606-1866.
Best,
Taylor
