RV220W - Is it necessary to put device in ROUTER mode to assign public IP's behind device?

I'm thinking that it is not, but a Cisco pro told me that in order to assign public IP's directly to my computers behind the device, I'll need to put it in Router Mode (as opposed to Gateway NAT mode).

The Access Rules configurations seem to indicate that I can assigned Public IP address to device behind the server with no problem.

One-to-one NAT works when RV220W operates in Gateway mode, i.e. NAT enabled.
