RV320 VLAN for shared printer

NR2
Level 1
Level 1

Presently I have a Cisco RV320 set up with a default VLAN1.

In addition there is a guest network set up on VLAN1003 tagged to port LAN1 which the WAP is connected to.

I would like to enable a wireless printer to be shared between the two VLANs.

I presume I set up a third VLAN for the printer to reside in and then configure VLAN1 and VLAN1003 to access this new VLAN? Whilst ensuring VLAN1 remains secure from VLAN1003 traffic.

Any advice on how to set this up would be most welcome. Thanks.

If the printer belongs to VLAN 1003, you can have ACL for the VLAN 1 to access only Printer IP. (rather creating another VLAN and make it complicated - personally my opinion)

here is example to create an ACL.
