Hi,
This must be something fundamental. I have had several routers in the past, you just plug in a switch and shazam, more ports. But, seems this router is more complex. I am a computer guy, but not a network guy.
help, please, need more ports. Tried 3 different switches.
update:
RV325 is connected to cable modem. RV325 is in gateway mode(maybe this is right/wrong?)
RV325 is setup as DHCP server / Vlan, device id = 192.168.0.1 / no vpn used / firewall is enabled.
RV325 firmware is updated.
Do I need an "access rule" to allow everything?
Should the firewall be enabled ?

i added an access rule to allow everything from LAN and the switch is working.
