Trying to parse the admin guide to see if/how I can have some of the ports route only to WAN1 and the remainder to WAN2. Trying to keep our voip traffic on a separate connection.
The goal is to completely isolate traffic headed to WAN2 from traffic headed to WAN1 so say as follows:
Ports 1-7 (call it Net 1) route directly to WAN1 and it's internet connection.
Ports 8-14 (call it Net 2) route directly to WAN2 etc.
So, if Net 2 maxes out our bandwidth from that ISP, Net 1 still throughputs at full speed to WAN1.
Looks like VLAN might let me do that, or subnets - not entirely sure.

My name Eric Moyers. I am an Engineer in the Small Business Support Center.
Check out Protocol Binding under Dual WAN connections in the Admin Guide.
If this does not improve your issue, please call our support center and open a case so that one of our engineers can work directly with you.

hi Mike,
I think the feature you are looking for is called protocol binding. This allows you to force a certain IP, port or interface to use a specific wan for it's traffic.
The first step is to figure how you want to separate your traffic, Normally this is done by using a voice vlan for the voice devices. you can also use the source or destination IP, or service or port to have the router decide what path the traffic takes.
Remember you will need to steer both SIP (5060-5080 frequently) and RTP traffic (varies but 10000 to 20000 will frequently cover the RTP ports). Check with your voice device vendor to see which ports your phones use.
then go into System Management > Dual WAN click on one wan, and fill out the protocol binding parms.
