Security - RV320 does not disable IPV6

Hi,

So I enable IPV6 (Dual-Stack IP option) on the RV320 v1.1.1.06.

IPV6 works great and test fine on several websites.

I decide that for security reasons that I will disable it since I have not verified all internal PCs should be running it.

Switch the router back to IPV4 only which to all menus appears to take affect.

Router does not prompt for any restart requirement.

All PCs internally can still route IPV6 data however, so the RV320 must still be running as a IPV6 gateway.

Reboot the router.

IPV6 stops working finally.

Don't think it should work this way.

Thanks

Hi David, Thanks for reporting this. Essentially the router need to restart the kernel when switching back from dual statck to v4 stack. The router should have a warning msg at least. We'll fix it. Thanks.
